Development of Social Skills in School and Community Settings

Presented by Alexander Oppenheim, student at Creighton Preparatory School in Omaha, Ne.

Beverly A. Doyle, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Education, Creighton University in Omaha, Ne.

Students experiencing learning and attention problems often lack the social
skills needed to function effectively in school, community, and home settings.  In addition to practicing these in a controlled environment, Alex Oppenheim and Beverly Doyle will discuss the effectiveness of this approach in less controlled environments found in regular school and home settings.
